Staff Training
As your professional development team, we provide customized training programs to assess current bilingual staff in their translation and interpretation skills, vett new staff as a potential hire in Spanish, and provide ongoing support as they complete your bilingual facilitation needs. We specialize in school district IEP meetings and training for staff teams who work with bilingual facilitators.
Introduction to National Resources for Bilingual Facilitators in Education
There are two major national organizations and multiple smaller programs that provide training and support for bilingual facilitators. We have researched and reviewed the similarities and differences between the ethical principles identified by NAETISL and AAITE who are each currently developing a national certification for translators and interpreters in education. Our training will review these principles and models used by bilingual facilitators.
